In conjunction with the standard or ECE flap control (with type approval), this flap exhaust system has ECE approval so that it can be used legally within the scope of the StVZO without registration in the vehicle documents.
The use of flap exhaust systems in conjunction with the race flap control (without approval) is not permitted for use on public roads and is only intended for racing purposes!
If you nevertheless install a product without approval in your vehicle and use it within the scope of the StVZO, you are liable to prosecution.
Possible consequences that you can expect in this case: Expiry of the operating license according to §19 of the StVZO and a possible resulting immobilization of the vehicle. Other possible consequences, such as a charge of tax evasion, as well as possible investigations by the environmental authorities are at the discretion of the investigators.
